About my practice : 

Mercedes Muhlegg is a psychoanalyst, member of the Canadian Psychoanalytic Society and

Institute and a member of the International Psychoanalytic Association. She holds a position on

the faculty of the Canadian Psychoanalytic Society, and teaches on a part-time basis.

Mercedes maintains a full-time private practice in psychoanalysis and psychotherapy. She is also

a member of the Henry Kravitz Psychoanalytic psychotherapy clinic, Institute of Psychiatry,

Jewish General Hospital working with outpatients.

In addition to psychoanalysis, Mercedes also specializes in short and/or long-term individual

and couples’ psychoanalytic psychotherapy. Other clinical approaches include CBT and

supportive therapies.

Mercedes works part-time as an Employee Assistant Program consultant and previously held a

position as Regional Clinical Director.
